Meet Gracie

Meet Gracie.

She's a Bernese-Mountain-Border-Collie mix.

She is Jon's early Christmas gift.

Yes, she's going to be big.

Yes, I can't believe we're doing this either.

Yes, we are certifiably crazy.

But she is so very cute!

She might come home this next weekend.

Let the true chaos begin.

I’m a coffee drinking, book reading, laundry procrastinating, husband and children loving, mess of a woman who believes that chips and salsa can fix anything. We have chickens running around the backyard, a mountain of dishes in the sink, and on any given morning, I have at least 10 school forms that need my signature or initials. It’s a crazy life {I prefer to call it controlled chaos}, but its ours.

You are NOT CRAZY. Sure, there will be moments (like failed potty training moments at 3:00 a.m., which I am sure you are familiar with :) that you will think you were crazy but just take a look at the gleam in your husbands' eyes, Hudsons smile, etc.

I think dogs are a beautiful blessing for God (yes, I am the crazy DOG LADY) and I have to tell you that I am crazy about this dog though I have never even met her.

I'm serious when I say, if she is getting to be too much, needs to get some energy out and you just don't have it in you, she is MORE THAN WELCOME to come play with my two.

Welcome to the family Gracie. You're beautiful!!!

We have a border collie mix that is 11 years old and have recently been told that she doesn't have much time left with us. I remember almost losing my mind when she was a puppy because she was so full of energy and would be naughty if she wasn't getting enough attention....I highly recommend putting in underground fencing or maybe you already have a fenced in yard.

Anyways, I just want to say that it will so be worth all the stress. My daughter and I have been in tears off and on all weekend at the thought of losing her. It's funny but what seemed so stressful at the time, now just makes me laugh. If you go in it knowing and accepting that it will not be easy, your puppy will be such a blessing to your whole family. I'm excited for you!

Gracie is GORGEOUS!!!

We have two Border Collie/Great Pyrenees mixes and I would not trade them for anything!

Were Gracie's parents both purebreds? Which was the mother and which was the father?

The Border Collie was the mother for both of ours. Our oldest mix is a year and a half and is about 70 pounds.

We can't wait to see Gracie grow up!
