I couldn't help myself!

Saturday, November 22, 2008 11 Comments A+ a-

I've been teaching myself how to design my own layouts and I've been working on a Christmas design for a couple of weeks now. I was hoping to wait until after Thanksgiving to debut it, but I'm just getting so excited for this Christmas season. We have much to look forward to:
  • My long-awaited niece will be making her arrival.
  • Company in the form of many friends and family.
  • My sister, Courtney, is marrying her high school sweetheart.
  • One of the best celebrations of the year... the birth of our Lord.
  • And soon after that, the arrival of Baby Trece.

In celebration of all that, I think it's time to start decking the halls!

I’m a coffee drinking, book reading, laundry procrastinating, husband and children loving, mess of a woman who believes that chips and salsa can fix anything. We have chickens running around the backyard, a mountain of dishes in the sink, and on any given morning, I have at least 10 school forms that need my signature or initials. It’s a crazy life {I prefer to call it controlled chaos}, but its ours.

Nice job, Jennifer! I think you are about to make the leap into digital scrapbooking! What do you think?

Very nice, you'll have to teach me how to do it.

I love it.

I have been listening to Christmas music for 2 weeks...even though it is still in the 80's here.

Love the new look!
I just redid my layout (but only so I could remove our names from my blog). Now I'm wishing I had a way to add a Christmas touch...

p.s.
I gave you an award on my blog tonight.

You did a great job.

I really laughed at you cranberry comment. No way you could. I think you are a tiny pregnant momma.

PS My tree has been up for a week. Way too excited here!!

look at you superstar! I'm not allowed to listen to Christmas music before Thanksgiving day. a tradition Justin quickly picked up from my dad. I already have two CDs waiting for the CD player on Thursday though!

LOVE the new layout! Wow, how can all of these things we've been waiting SO long for be right around the corner? This will be a Christmas to remember.
